RL-133B is a fully synthetic high-performance passenger car motor oil (PCMO) that meets the API SQ-RC and ILSAC GF7A standards. It is developed to address the critical needs of newer vehicle engine technologies, including turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDI) engines. API SQ is a new category designed to provide greater contributions to fuel economy and engine protection. Improved lubricant robustness helps maintain piston cleanliness and enhance fuel efficiency while ensuring effective sludge and wear control. The latest engine oil performance standard, ILSAC GF-7A, also aims to address low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), a common issue in turbocharged engines.
